Horse sculptures, wildlife sculptures, figurative sculptures by Equus Studio - Sculpture is a unique art experience that must be observed over time to be fully appreciated. As a freestanding work of art it can be viewed from numerous angles, and changing light sources accentuate the form differently each time you look at the sculpture.

Original clay sculptures are even more unique; when you touch the surface, your hand follows a path that was not created by a tool, or by machine, or transferred from another medium; it’s the exact paths and grooves that the artist’s hands created.

All of the original sculptures available by Equus Studio are hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind sculptures. They were created without the use of a mold, and they will never be copied or cast into other mediums

These sculptures are original, one-of-a-kind artworks. Most of these artworks are floral/nature themed (such as pumpkins and other gourds). While they are quite detailed and of the same quality as original sculptures (such as "Journey", above), the amount of time it takes to make these is considerably less than the original sculptures, which is why they cost less -

• The subjects are simpler - while these sculptures are extremely detailed, the subject matter is less intensive than original sculptures.
• The process is simpler - these sculptures do not require an armature to build, so they are not only easier to build, the set up is much easier.
• Same high quality materials and attention to detail as original sculptures. They are also original and one-o-a-kind!

Pottery sculptures start at $11.95 for small ornaments to $49.99 for larger sculptures (around 6" tall) on a base (such as "Pumpking Patch 1").

I'm a sculptor from Springfield, MO. I prefer to create my sculptures with a more classical look, using strong musculature and highly defined details. The use of bold colors to finish each sculpture helps bring out the finer details and creates very unique artworks. All of the original sculptures available by Equus Studio are hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind sculptures. They were created without the use of a mold, and they will never be copied or cast into other mediums. I prefer clay over all other sculpting media because of its durability and its various finishing options. Horse sculptures and wildlife sculptures are my specialty, with wildlife artworks usually consisting of elephant sculptures and large cat (lion) sculptures. Figurative sculptures are sometimes available as well.
