Ordering Artworks from Equus Studio Informaton About Ordering Artworks from Equus StudioOnline ordering is safe, secure, and easy. Because payment is sent either through paypal or google checkout, customer information is not stored on the Equus Studio server, ensuring customer confidentiality. Most items on the website are ready for shipping unless otherwise specified, and will be sent immediately after payment has cleared. Your shipping information will be provided to us by paypal or google. If you have any questions, please contact Equus Studio. Privacy Policy Customer logins are not necessary to purchase artworks from Equus Studio. In fact, no personal information is needed by Equus Studio except a shipping address, which will be supplied to us through Paypal or Google Checkout. No customer information will ever be sold or shared in any way. All information (such as an email, phone number, or address) provided to Equus Studio (either through this website, through email, or through a payment gateway such as Paypal) will only be used to send you information about your purchase or inquiry. Do I have to start an account with Equus Studio to purchase artworks? No account is necessary, not even through PayPal. To buy items without a PayPal account, simply choose to "Continue without an account" once you are on the PayPal site. How do payment plans work? The payment plan is set up through PayPal in either 2, 3, 4, or 6 month installments. These payment plans are available for original sculptures and some limited edition wall sculptures. The first payment is 1/3 of the total amount (price of the artwork plus shipping and taxes), and the rest of the amount is divided into equal payments (for 2 month installment plans, each payment is 1/2 of the total amount). See the FAQs page for more information. Shipping Charges and PoliciesShipping/Handling Promise with Money Back Guaranty - Fine ceramic artworks are delicate, but very durable. Equus Studio crates all ceramic artworks to ensure that mishaps during shipping will not cause damage to the artworks, and promises that each artwork will reach its destination in pristine condition. If you receive a damaged sculpture, please contact us immediately (before shipping the sculpture back). If the piece cannot be fixed and returned to the exact state it was in before shipping, Jen can replace it with an already completed work or refund your money. Whichever you choose is your option, but Jen will need the broken sculpture in return. Costs incurred for shipping the sculpture back to Equus Studio will be refunded to you, either with the original sculpture refund, or it will be sent with the new or repaired sculpture. **Only Jen can determine whether the sculpture can be repaired, and only after she has received it back from the 2nd shipping. Shipping Charts:
*Discount shipping applies for all artworks when you purchase another item of equal or higher price. The highest priced item ships at regular shipping cost, all other items ship at the discount rate. **These artworks will be mailed via USPS Priority Mail. Sculptures will be wrapped in bubble wrap, secured with packing peanuts, and then double-boxed for shipping. Packing materials and shipping insurance is included in the s/h charges. All larger works will be sent via Fedex, smaller artworks will be sent via priority mail through USPS - all tracking number(s) will be provided to the buyer. You can track you shipments here or enter an email address to receive tracking by email. Care is needed in removing the sculpture from the packing materials - especially while removing bubble wrap. I want to purchase an artwork and will be in the Springfield, MO area. Can I pick the work up instead of having it shipped? You can do a local pickup for artworks at no charge for shipping (there is still a small charge for materials if you wish for a sculpture to be crated for travel). In the cart, under Shipping Options, click the "2 - Local (Springfield, MO) pickup (free)" option to remove all shipping charges from the cart. Notes on Pricing - These prices are general and are subject to change. Limited Edition Prints - All papers are archival in quality, and the lifespan of each print is approximately 100 years. The difference between archival and specialty papers is the texture. The two types of specialty papers are Photo Rag and Museum Etchings. ***Prints and drawings are not typically accepted by Jen for commissions. This information is provided for regular pricing information only*** Sculptures - The pricing difference between large figures and heads is based on the amount of time to build each type. Figures are more time consuming and take slightly more materials. Small heads (approx. 7.5" high or smaller, without the base) do not require an armatature to build, and take much less time and materials than the larger sculptures. Relief Sculptures - Long, rectangular reliefs are priced as follows: a small relief is anything smaller than (roughly) 9" on all sides, medium is anything between 9" and 13" on at least one side, and large is anything over 13" on at least one side (these dimensions do not include the base). Square or round reliefs are as follows: a small relief is (roughly) 5" x 5" or smaller, medium is 5" x 5" to 9" x 9", large is 9" x 9" to 12" x 12", and extra large is anything over 12" x 12".
