Simple Exercise Using Ground Poles, Trot/Canter, and Circles - Patterns for Horse and Rider

Finish the maneuver you're on before rushing into the next maneuver. Make the halt count by having your horse stand a few seconds before and after turning. Poles should be set 18-20 feet apart to allow for approx. 2 canter strides between poles. See/print the full size version of this riding pattern.

Techniques used: trot/canter, circles, laterals: turns (on hindquarter or forehand).
